patch2vi [-arh] [-o FILE] [-er TAG] [-ew TAG] [input.patch]
patch2vi -e script.sh [script2.sh...]
patch2vi [-ar]I [nextvi-opts...]
patch2vi [-aro]E script.sh [reg|''] [nextvi-opts...]
patch2vi [-o]C origin.sh [-C origin2.sh...] target.sh [fix.[patch|sh]|''] [nextvi-opts...]

Converts unified diff to shell script using nextvi ex commands
Input can be a unified diff or a previously generated patch2vi script
  -h Show this help
  -a Absolute line numbers
  -r Relative regex patterns (default)
-o Write the script to FILE, atomically; may be a file this
run reads. Clustered with another option it takes no FILE
and updates that option's own script in place
-e Execute a script with the built-in nextvi, no shell involved
Several scripts run in order, stopping at the first failure
-er Read section end tag (default: "=== END ===")
-ew Write section end tag (default: "=== END ===")
-E Update a script: replay it, edit, re-emit its base patch
Stored compat blocks are carried over from their stored
        patches, unverified
A compat block's section register after the script rebuilds
that one block instead, replaying its src= origins ahead of
the target; '' skips the slot. Rest of the line is a nextvi
        command line
With QF2=1 the hunks that missed are put back into the
buffers at the line they reported, cursor parked on the first
-I Edit files in the built-in nextvi, emit the edits as a script
Rest of the line is a nextvi command line, EXINIT included
-C Compat patch: resolve a collision with origin.sh, ship the
fix as a block after the target's, behind an identity gate
on origin being in $P2VI_PATCH; a second positional
pre-applies a written fix to start from, '' skips it; the
rest of the line is a nextvi command line for the handover
Repeat -C to gate one block on several origins at once
